With EtsyHunt, you can tackle all this and more.

They scored above average on Capterra , at 4.3/5, from 8 reviewers. Reviewers liked that EtsyHunt was easy to use and that EtsyHunt worked, helping them improve search rankings and increase their visibility.

They also raved about features like the tag analysis and insights provided.

What they disliked was the information overload felt on some of the dashboards because of the sheer volume of data that was made available. Other drawbacks mentioned were cost.

I’m excited to cover everything in this EtsyHunt review!

Let’s examine EtsyHunt’s features and break them down so you can get a clearer idea of the options it offers.

EtsyHunt Review: Features

With nearly a dozen different features available, there are lots of ways you can use EtsyHunt to better your Etsy business.

The product tools include:

  • Product Database
  • Product Chart

The product database is home to millions of Etsy products. Search the database with filters like category, price, and reviews to get a snapshot view of the product, according to:

  • 7-day sales
  • Total sales
  • Total reviews
  • Total favorites.

When you click on the product, you can view more detailed data about it, including product highlights and a performance chart.

Product Chart

The Etsy Product Chart will show you the top Etsy products according to their Bestselling and Rising Chart Status.

You can find hot-selling products and products that are rising up the ranks quickly in popularity, according to category and timeframe (7 days or 30 days).

Category Analysis

The Category Analysis helps you find niches and products to explore according to inactive Etsy items.

You can view trends, favorites, sales, and reviews based on a specific category.

Amazon Handmade Products

You can do some deep research on the Amazon handmade market on Etsy. Search Amazon handmade products by keyword, brand, or ASIN. Then, you can review metrics like BSN, reviews, ratings, and more.

Inactive Products

Etsy Inactive Products helps you find niches from unavailable products in Etsy. This helps you spot holes in your competition’s inventory like low stock of specific products.

Etsy Bestseller

See Etsy bestselling products according to product category.

For example, in clothing, these are the top 3 bestsellers that appear:

Once you identify bestselling items, you can do further research by exploring the product details, including price, tags, shop information, and performance.

There are also keyword tools that are helpful for conducting keyword research so you can spot low competition, high volume keywords.

Then, the operation tools help you optimize your product listings, edit backgrounds with their AI photo background editor, and create follow-ups for yourself.

Who Is EtsyHunt for?

EtsyHunt is for Etsy shop owners looking to improve their store performance and get more sales. If you’re an Etsy seller serious about the performance of your shop, using tools like EtsyHunt makes a lot of sense.

Beginner-level, intermediate, and seasoned Etsy sellers are the perfect candidates for EtsyHunt.

Sellers can use EtsyHunt for a variety of reasons, like:

  • Identifying trends
  • Discovering keywords and tags
  • Competitor analysis
  • Discovering niche opportunities
  • Optimizing product listings
  • Tracking performance.

Product research tools can be great for trendspotting. Staying up to date with trends happening is important. You’ll be able to remain competitive and tailor your products to emerging trends happening now.

Discovering Keywords and Tags

Keywords and tags can be a big struggle in the content creation world. But research tools like EtsyHunt are great for providing valuable insights into the keywords and tags buyers are searching for on Etsy.

With this information, Etsy sellers can optimize their product listings to get the most visibility for their products.

Competitor Analysis

Who doesn’t like to spy on competitors? It’s an important part of the selling process and product research tools make it possible for sellers to conduct competitor analysis.

Look at competitors:

  • Product listings
  • Pricing strategies
  • Performance.

Tons of helpful seller insights like this are made possible so sellers can tailor their product strategy to be competitive in the market.

Finding Niche Opportunities

Uncovering niche opportunities is about identifying underserved or niche markets that exist.

These markets where less competition is present are an opportunity for Etsy sellers. Make a mark on that niche and brand yourself as an industry expert, serving that audience and increasing your product sales in the process!

Optimizing Product Listings

Product optimization is so huge!

There are millions of Etsy sellers. Making your listings stand out in a sea of competitors boils down to optimizing product titles, descriptions, and images.

By doing this, you can bring higher conversion rates and more sales.

Tracking Performance Metrics

Looking at performance data is critical so you can monitor the progress of sales, revenues, and other benchmarks, over time.

This data can help you make the best decisions to grow your Etsy business.

Now that I’ve covered who EtsyHunt is best for, let’s look at EtsyHunt alternatives on the market.

EtsyHunt Alternatives

There are plenty of Etsy research tools on the market. Here are three competitors to review to help you make the best informed decision.

Alura

Alura is an Etsy research tool for Etsy sellers. Here’s an overview of how Alura works but, for more of a deep dive, read our Alura review.

Alura’s features include:

  • Keyword research
  • Email marketing
  • Shop analysis
  • Listing optimization
  • Niche finder
  • Follow up reminder
  • Chrome extension.

From Etsy SEO to product research and shop analysis, Alura can help meet all your needs so you can do the research you need to do, so your Etsy shop can beat out the competition!

One of my favorite features of Alura is its listing optimization tool, which gives your product listing a score and recommendations.

The built-in marketing tools like email marketing are an attractive option, too.

A free forever plan is available, and paid plans start at $19.99/month.

Sale Samurai

Sale Samurai is an Etsy SEO and keyword research tool. The focus of this tool really seems to be SEO. You’ll be able to improve your Etsy shop’s SEO so products appear higher in search rankings giving you more visibility and driving your growth.

So, with this Etsy SEO tool, you’ll be able to check search volume, tags, and analytics, as well as access an Etsy fees calculator.

Scoping out the competition is easier than ever using Sale Samurai.

Get actionable insights about the competition so you can see what you’re up against and make adjustments, as needed.

Our Sale Samurai review breaks down how the tool works and how it can help you grow your Etsy sales.

There’s no free forever plan, but Sale Samurai offers a 3-day free trial to test the software. Then, paid plans start at $9.99/month.

Erank

Erank is one of the top players in the industry for Etsy product research. They offer tools like:

  • Keyword research
  • Competitor analysis
  • Trendspotting.

I also like some of their other built-in tools, such as the Profit calculator and ROI calculator. The profit calculator considers your production, marketing, and selling costs to calculate profit.

The ROI calculator works with your Etsy ads campaign to help you evaluate the performance and determine the return on investment.

Like EtsyHunt, Erank offers a free forever plan, which is a beginner-friendly option for newbies to explore.

The expert-level plan runs around $30/month.

EtsyHunt Review: Final Verdict

Whether you need help with keyword research, product research, or listing optimization, EtsyHunt can deliver. I really love that it’s an all-in-one tool to help you with all aspects of your Etsy business.

There’s no using this tool for one purpose and then using another tool for something else. EtsyHunt really delivers it all, offering all the research tools you’re looking for in one place.

This is a solid Etsy research tool, in my opinion, but is it the best?

While I fell in love with all the features available, the interface left something to be desired.

It’s an easy-to-use tool, no doubt, but for a more streamlined setup and better-organized dashboards, I favored other Etsy tools above EtsyHunt.

Still, it offers many different tools to help you do your research. Compared to doing this kind of research manually, using a tool like EtsyHunt can save you time, and you will enjoy how easy this tool is to use.

There’s a minimal learning curve, and once you join, you can dive in using all the features.

I’d recommend starting with the free forever plan to see what you think. You get unlimited time to test out EtsyHunt so you can get a good grasp of how it works to see if you like the functionality and would like to use it long term.
